  1. Ooh this is intense. The pictures with blood vaguely scare me but I'm mostly in awe of the amazing clothes and props. I think my favorite has to be the last girl with her bow and arrow because, well she's totally loaded right now, and her dress is awesome. Plus I've actually shot an arrow before, so I feel a connection with her.
Anyway, I loved reading your passionate anti-Ugg wearers comment, it really cracked me up. I definitely get what you mean, all these stupid trends are so dehumanizing to these bleach-blonde people and it mostly annoys me because they look so UNfashionable. But It also bothers me, because like you I'm annoyed that they consciously made the decision to dress themselves in the style of 7th grade suburban girls (it shocks me that these trends continue at your college). But I don't agree that all of these people are necessarily stupid. Part of what I wanted to get across was that if everyone wore very different clothing, we might be less likely to judge others based on their dressing. So, even if someone is sporting an obnoxiously large AF logo across their boobs, it would be kind to take them seriously before deducing who they are underneath the fake tan.

  2. I was feeling particularly sour the other day so I think I may have been a bit overly cruel about the Aberzombies. They aren't all stupid, but they dress this way as a facade to make them look stupid which is, I feel, dehumanizing. I agree that there might be someone underneath the fake tan that defies their outward expressions but when someone so strongly wishes to look like a bimbo that they go bleach blonde and do the fake tan; what else can one percieve of them other than what they are so actively portraying?

But you're right, an AF logo or a pair of Uggs does not denote intelligence; or any lack thereof. Just as a Comme Des Garcons T-Shirt doesn't necessarily mean that the wearer is a fashion Ghandi.
